Preproduction Plan
We will record our movie using an iPhone. This is advantageous because we will probably use the same device to record all our scenes. This way, we do not have to worry about the video changing if we decide to share our files. Our movie will need various props and costumes. Since our movie is a drama based on real-life incidents, it is easy for us to acquire the majority of the props.
The movie will commence with a montage showing the progression of our love story. It will include scenes like walking in school corridors while wearing normal clothing. There are only three costumes that we will need in our movie. They include a wedding dress, a graduation gown, and formal clothing. While planning our movie, we made sure that we used costumes that were not only realistic but also easy to acquire. For instance, instead of using an expensive formal ball gown, we will use an easy courthouse wedding dress. Our group is lucky because we already have two graduation gowns from our family members who previously graduated. All our costumes, except the ones mentioned above, will come from our team members' closets.
There are also some simple props that are present in the movie. The props include things such as the picnic blanket and the ring. The majority of the props are already in our possession or are easily attainable. The items that we are in need of are not necessarily props that the actors will hold, but rather decorations that will set the scene. The two scenes that will require the most decoration and preparation are the wedding scene and the proposal scene. The good news is that I am an individual who enjoys decorating and often throws small gatherings, so I already have access to the majority of the supplies that I will need for these scenes. The only prop that we are currently in need of purchasing is the pregnancy test, or something to represent the event.
We also have multiple scene locations, including the front of our high school, the CNA room, the lunchroom, the local cemetery, and my house for outdoor and romantic scenes.
My group and I are taking on every role possible, but we did recruit additional help for specific acting roles. This is because we needed male support, and we also needed parental support for transportation; the rest of the roles were taken up by my group and me. Paola is our main cinematographer, Angelina is our storywriter, main actor, and amazing editor, and me being our director and assistant cinematographer.
